The beginning of my leather era! I love working with different textures so when I came across a local shop that sells their remnants, I bought pounds of gorgeous supple leather to work into my fiber art. This lovely gal features alpaca yarn dyed locally at Pluff Mud Farm, using indigo, cosmos, and marigolds. Also in the mix is Suri art yarn (some dyed with dandelions) merino, wool locks and a tiny bit of acrylic. All backed by a rich mahogany piece of leather. She is hung from a piece of live edge cherry, complete with hangers fastened to the back.
